General Laborer

POSITION SUMMARY: Under limited supervision performs work of routine difficulty related to deliveries, setup and preventive maintenance for all Affinia Healthcare and off-site locations.  Additional duties related to painting, drywall and assisting with routine repairs.   

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: Requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. 

Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years experience related to construction, painting, landscaping, delivery and/or other general labor skills.

1. Ability to perform daily tasks with minimal supervision.
2. Skilled in safe operation of power and manual tools; operation of light equipment.
3. Ability to comprehend given instructions and adapt to any given environment.
4. Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
5. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

License(s)/Certification(s) Required:  Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance as required by the State of Missouri.

Essential Functions

1. Loads and delivers supplies and equipment to Affinia Healthcare and outside locations, as required.
2. Setup tents, staging and temporary installation, as required.
3. Maintains and repairs parking lots, sidewalks and fencing, as required.
4. Assists maintenance mechanics with emergency/unscheduled details, as required.
5. Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment, as required.
6. Completes daily work orders with minimal supervision, as required.
7. Complies with OSHA, NFPA and FEMA safety standards.
8. Complies with Joint Commission, HRSA and Affinia policies.
9. Inspects and assists with building repairs, as required.
10. Inspect and polices building grounds and ensures cleanliness, as required.
11. Moves furniture, appliances and equipment, as required.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
