EMR/EDR Analyst II

POSITION SUMMARY: The EMR/EDR Analyst II will serve as a proactive liaison between various departments within Affinia Healthcare and the IT team. The primary focus will be on managing and optimizing the NextGen EMR, EPM and EDR system to enhance efficiency and functionality across the organization.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Health Information Management, or a related field.

Experience:

1. 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience working with NextGen EMR.
   2. Proficiency in EMR, EPM and EDR system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
   3. Strong understanding of healthcare operations and workflows.
   4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills and Abilities which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position:

1. 1. In-depth knowledge of NextGen EMR, EPM and EDR functionalities and modules.
   2. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
   3. Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
   4. Familiarity with FQHC operations and compliance requirements

Key Requirements:

1. Availability for occasional travel between FQHC locations.
2. Flexibility to address EMR-related issues during non-standard working hours if necessary.

Transportation Requirement: Must possess a valid driver's license and automobile with insurance coverage as required by the State of Missouri.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Essential Functions

1. Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to understand workflow requirements and optimize NextGen EMR configurations.

2. Provide ongoing support, training, and troubleshooting for NextGen users.

3. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.

4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to EMR usage.

5. Generate and analyze reports to support data-driven decision-making
