Affinia Behavioral Health - VISTA

POSITION SUMMARY:  The VISTA member will be responsible for developing a quality analysis and improvement program for our behavioral health and substance abuse programs. The member will also develop, test and improve patient navigation tools to prevent substance use or address current use, via engagement with health care resources and programs at Affinia Healthcare, such as stress management, pain management, behavioral health services and chronic disease care services, to name a few.  And increasing patient participating by 10% in the targeting health programs.

EDUCATION:  Graduate degree (e.g. MA, PhD, MD, JD)   

EXPERIENCE:  

• 1-2 years of experience in Quality Improvement Projects
• 1-2 years experience in a healthcare setting
• Application of process improvement methodologies
• Work experience in Public Health, Counseling & Education

REQUIRED SKILLS:  

• Ability to conduct meetings
• Seek continuous process improvements in quality 
• Track the change controls appropriately and perform re-estimation on need basis
• Provide constructive feedback to teams
• Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written skills, including preparation of meaning reports
• Ability to collect, analyze, apply, interpret, graph, display, and communicate data
• Good computer skills including the use of word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint and email software
